This free software is a wonderful tool for using and making Russian cyrillic files in systems where any russification of characters is not available. The c2t-program uses TeX for viewing and printing Russian files, you only need fonts from wncy-family.

Sources include files c2t.c, c2t.h for C-compiling, and the documentation file c2t.tex for TeX-compiling. These three files, and executed version c2t.exe for Windows and DOS (as program for recoding cyrillic files), are put together in c2t.zip. You can also the documentation file in DVI- or PS-formats; the best (compact) form for printing the documentation in PS is here.

NB: Please, be sure that you are making all changes only in c2t.h.

For writing cyrillic files you need to know a Russian Volopek, that is the following correspondence between cyrillic and latin letters:

RUSSIAN_VOLOPEK

Previous versions 1.05, 2.01, and 2.02 are not so interesting, but available.
